CHINGRI MACHER MALAI CURRY
Ingredients
- 4 pieces jumbo prawns
- 1 medium sized onions chopped
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- salt as per taste
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon cumin powder
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
Instructions
- At first, put 1 tablespoon of salt and turmeric powder in a bowl and coat the fish properly.
- Next heat a pan put oil in it and let the fish fry till golden brown.
- Put the fish aside.
- Next, put some more oil in the pan and also add the butter.
- Now add the onion and fry them till they turn golden brown.
- Next add the ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt as per taste, and cumin powder and stir firmly.

Ingredients
- 4 pieces medium-sized prawns
- 1 daab
- 1 medium sized onions chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic chopped
- 1 tablespoon green chili paste
- 2 tablespoon mustard seeds paste
- 1 tablespoon panch foron
- 4 tablespoon mustard oil
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
Instructions
- All we need to do at first is scrap the pulp of the daab and mix them with the daab water and make a paste of it.
- Now cut the mouth of the daab so that the stuffing can be put inside the daab.
- Now heat oil in a pan and add the panch foron, onion, and garlic and stir them nicely.
- Now put this fried garlic and onion in a bowl and add the prawns, pulp mixture of daab, turmeric powder, mustard seeds paste, salt and mustard oil.
- Mix them properly and coat the prawns.
- Now put this prawn stuffing inside the daab and cover the mouth of the daab with aluminium foil.

POSTO CHINGRI
Ingredients
- 2 cups small prawns
- 4 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 cup potato cubed
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 4 green green chili
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 4 tablespoon mustard oil
Instructions
- All we need to do at first is take the prawns in a bowl and add salt and turmeric powder and mix them properly. And keep them aside.
- Next, we need to soak the poppy seeds in 1 cup of water for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes drain the water and put the poppy seeds in a blender, add 2 green chilies and blend them to a smooth paste. keep them aside.
- Next heat 2 tablespoons of mustard oil in a pan and slightly fry the prawns. And keep them aside.
- Next, add the potato cubes and slightly for them till they turn golden brown. And keep them aside.
- Now add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan and now add the onion.
- Fry the onions till they turn golden brown.
- Next add the green chili, salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, and half a cup of water and stir them nicely.
- Now add the fried potatoes and the paste of poppy seeds. Stir them nicely.
- Next, add the fried prawns, and split green chili. Stir the mixture very nicely.

- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 4 green chili
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 tablespoon mustard oil

- All we need to do at first is take the prawns in a bowl and add a pinch of salt and turmeric powder to it and mix properly.
- Set them aside for 30 minutes.
- Now add the mustard seeds, poppy seeds, 2 green chilies, half a cup water, and a pinch of salt in a blender and blend them to a smooth paste.
- Now put this mixture in a bowl and add sugar, grated coconut, Slited green chili, red chili powder, and the prawns.
- Mix the prawns very nicely and coat them nicely.
- Keep them aside for more than 30 minutes.
- Now take a steel tiffin box and put the whole mixture in that box.
- Add the mustard oil and close the lid of the tiffin box.
- Next, put a pot in a flame and place the tiffin box in it.
- Now add water to the pot. We have to keep in mind that the water poured should be half of the height of the tiffin box.
- Now close the lid of the pot. Let the water boil and steam for about 30 minutes on low flame.
