Mixed fried rice is a Chinese recipe. It contains all the food nutrients needed for our body. This fried rice contains a lot of vegetables, meat, eggs, and prawns. Whenever we feel like eating something different we can try this recipe. Fried rice is the staple and national dish of Indonesia. This recipe was first developed in China. A variety of Mixed fried rice recipes can be prepared such as egg fried rice, chicken fried rice, paneer fried rice, veg fried rice, prawn fried rice, and many more. In this recipe, we need chicken, prawns, mushrooms, eggs, and any vegetables of your choice. Fried rice goes well with chili chicken. This recipe can also be made with leftover rice, vegetables, and meat. This is an interesting recipe that can be made easily.
MIXED FRIED RICE
- Half cup chicken chopped in small cubed
- Half cup prawns chopped in smll pieces
- Half cup mushroom chopped in cubes
- 2 cup basmati rice
- 1 medium capsicum finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- one-fourth cup carrot finely chopped
- one-fourth cup cabbage finelly chopped
- one-fourth cup spring onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon soya sauce
- oil as per need
- salt as per need
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon pepper powder
- 4 cloves
- 4 cardamom
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon ghee
HOW TO PREPARE THE RICE
- Wash the rice with water nicely and rinse them nicely.
- Then heat a pot and 2 cups of water in it.
- Boil the water and add the washed rice to it.
- Add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil to it.Â
- After 10 minutes take a look that the rice is cooked 90%.
- Next, turn off the flame and strain the rice from the water and spread them on a plate, and let them cool.
HOW TO PREPARE THE MEAT
- Take the meat in a bowl and add vinegar, half a tablespoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of soya sauce to it.
- Mix them nicely and let them marinate for about 1 hour
- After 1 hour heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil to it.
- Add the meat and fry them for about 10 minutes on low flame.
- Cover the lid so that the meat gets softened.
- When the meat gets fried and soften keep them aside.
HOW TO PREPARE THE PRAWNS
- Take a bowl and add the prawns to it.
- Add 1 tablespoon of salt and turmeric powder to it.
- Mix them very nicely and keep them aside for about 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil to it.Â
- Add the marinated prawns and fry them nicely till they become golden brown. Keep them aside.
HOW TO PREPARE THE EGG
- Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of oil to itï»¿
- Now break the eggs and add them to the pan.ï»¿
- Add 1 teaspoon of salt to it.ï»¿
- Scramble the eggs and keep them aside.
- Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil to it.ï»¿
- Now add the mushrooms, carrots, and cabbage one by one.ï»¿
- ï»¿Stir them nicely and cover the lid and cook them on low flame for about 10 minutes so that the vegetables get softened.
- ï»¿Now add 1 teaspoon of salt to them and them again for 5 minutes on low flame and keep them aside.
THE FINAL PROCESS
- Heat a pan and add 1 tablespoon of ghee and 1 tablespoon of oil to it.
- Now add the cloves. cardamom and cinnamon sticks. ï»¿
- ï»¿Stir them for 30 seconds.Now add the capsicum. Stir them for 5 minutes on low flame till it gets softened.
- ï»¿Now add the cooked rice. Stir them for about 2 minutes.
- ï»¿Now add the cooked meat, prawns, eggs, and other cooked vegetables.
- ï»¿Mix them firmly.
- ï»¿Now add the soya sauce, pepper powder, spring onions, sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt.
- ï»¿Mix them nicely and stir them for more than 5 minutes on low flame.
- ï»¿And our Mixed Fried Rice is ready to be served.
- Salt should be used with precautions as soya sauce contains salt in them.
- While cooking the rice you should keep a check so that it does not get overcooked. If overcooked fried rice will not be proper.
